A chiropractic adjustment does not always produce an audible sound or “pop.” When a sound does occur, it is simply the release of gas bubbles from the joint fluid due to a change in pressure—much like opening a fresh jar of jam.
In animals, these sounds are much less common than in humans. It is important to know that an audible "crack" has no bearing on the success or quality of the adjustment.
Physiotherapy generally focuses on rehabilitating specific symptoms, primarily working on muscles and soft tissue. Both Chiropractors and Osteopaths take a holistic approach, viewing the body as a connected whole.
As a Chiropractor, my primary focus is the spine and the nervous system. My goal is to optimize the body's natural function by identifying and addressing restrictions (blockages) in the spine, ensuring the nervous system can communicate clearly with the rest of the body.
